Classic dance tracks from the early 1990's from the legendary Nottingham nightclub.
- There were two levels, an upstairs (playing mostly early garage / balearic / happy house) where people would dance on the bar frequently, and a downstairs, which was underground, dark, and very, very loud. The music downstairs was mainly progressive house & thumping deep-house club classics. Whichever floor you chose, you were guaranteed a storming night!

RHYTHM ON THE LOOSE - break of dawn

Chi ascolta ancora questo pezzone nel 2023?
Discovering this song was like unearthing a buried treasure. Mesmerizing and simply transcendent. I can’t seem to go a day without listening to Fallen whether it’s this mix, the album or the original single.
Same. Just discovered it in a mix and thought it was a 2023 song and was completely shocked it’s 30 years old
Hell yeah...
They don’t make music like this anymore
Long overdue a dove up 😐
Still have his 'Terapia' CD album.
Amazing times
I listen to two kinds of music(genre means nothing). Music I love and music that was playing at different important/impactful times of my life. This falls into both categories. I still remember what I was doing, who I was with, and what we were doing the first time I heard this song.
My frist real bit for vinyl i brought back when i was about 17 years old ,about 1991 , a great time a great record . I still love all this stuff 30 years on .....
Was meant to be a headliner @Arena 1 Roundhay Park Leeds but no showed 1991. 5000 people in the largest marquee in Europe, crazy crazy day
This is a sly one ...
CLASSIX!!!
I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS SINCE AROUND 92-93. I can feel the acid kicking in a little, Flashbacks! Haven't dropped in 6 years. Thanks for the upload.
Remember this one from the first rave I ever went to...made me love techno
Can't help it... early 90's to me feels like the best times ever. What a massive tune, the essence of the best days!
Yyyiiiiiieeeee boiiiiiii
Do y'all even know what doved up means ?
No one sounds like this. This band was one of a kind.
Hmm, Mallrat sounds similar .. have a listen to this: ruclips.net/video/tOXY59WEkao/видео.html
I have always thought this. Bold like Scotland, and Dot's voice is angelic. But, ya, the beat and rhythm are unique.. . .
and especially this track
First time I'd heard of Sunscreem was nearly a decade ago , and this track is one of those I've kept on repeat throughout
Heard this on Eastenders! Smashing!
Just found this after many years searching. She sings my name right at the start, ROBERT BEDDING. Of course not really but it always made us chuckle when clubbing.
What a Groove!!! Legendary piece from the era of the real Garage-House.
🥳❤️
Fantastic guys
What a fucking tune ....! What a fucking rush ....! I'm rushing .... Just thinking about this proper, dirty-beat - in fact I'm having a dance in bed!! xx
Falconberg court
Flying records Kensington market London My youth! Xxxxxxxx xxx Miss those days x
I first ever heard this song when I went to see the Isaac Mizrahi film "Unzipped" and a preview began with Elizabeth Berkeley slowing licking a stripper pole from bottom to top to the beginning of "Fallen" and stopped with a bang, "Showgirls" appeared on the screen and that was all. I desperately tried to find out what the song was, way before the Google days but eventually did. All my straight buddies were like we GOTTA see that movie!! I couldn't care less since I like boys. But did get the cassette album for One Dove and wore it out.
🖤⚔🖤❤❤❤❤
Chainsmokers "Selfie" totally sampled the shit outta this
This song is a masterpiece!!!
I love this song
The finest tune ever..
Great nights out. X
I live and dj in nottingham now and her many stories about venus, wish i couldve gone
Loved this band and loved this club, and remember this being played upstairs.....thought it was angels and I was in heaven! Not wanting to sound old, but this era was the golden era x
You're not old, only experienced. So many eras of fine music, this was simply the last one. . .
@ jifster72 Thanks for posting this! I have very fond memories of Venus and playing there. And thank you for choosing this track in particular!
